RLR 3
RLR 3 is our newest design and is still under construction. She will be a foam/carbon sandwich construction and in a major departure for Richard Lander Racing will be 'wheels in' which will present some new design challenges for us!
RLR K
After sustaining some hefty damage to RLR 1 one season, it was decided that we would need to build a training car that was more easily reapirable when the odd prang did occur. It was decided that instead of building another new steel framed car from scratch we would take advantage of the kit car that Greenpower provide and get our younger students working on it until they graduate to the faster car. Her steel frame is covered in a birch ply/carbon fibre composite. Now that we have a successful season with RLR K under our belts (3rd fastest kit car at the nation finals 2014) we are really looking forward to innovating the kit to get even more performance of her.

RLR 1
RLR 1 is now a veteran of Greenpower and as such is reaching the end of her successful racing career, with her best result of 6th in the National Finals. We will continue to race her or as long as she lasts but we are now putting all the lessons we have learnt over our time with RLR 1 into newer cars.
V24
V24 was our first attempt at Greenpower. Racing in the 2007 season she picked up several awards for design and engineering and qualified for the National Final @ Goodwood in her first season, a major achievement for any new team. The chassis was a tubular steel frame and covered with high impact polystyrene body panels.
Now retired, V24 set the ball rolling for Richard Lander Racing and we all learnt a great deal in that first season. It took the team from a fringe project down in DT to a flagship for the whole school.
